About the position

As a C Level Automotive Technician at Nalley Hyundai, you will play a crucial role in redefining the car-servicing experience. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about repairing cars and providing exceptional guest experiences. You will have the opportunity to work independently on preventive maintenance and light line repairs, while also assisting senior and master technicians with more complex repairs. Your daily responsibilities will include performing routine vehicle inspections, basic suspension and steering diagnosis and repair, brake diagnosis and repair, alignments, tire repairs, and fluid maintenance exchanges. You will also be responsible for making accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle and documenting all work performed on the repair order. In this role, you will stay up to date with factory bulletins, covering campaigns, updates, and recalls, ensuring that you are compliant with federal, state, and local regulations. You will participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs and continuously expand your knowledge of new technology to enhance your skills. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be a team player, and possess basic tools necessary for the job. This position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to pass pre-employment screening, including background and drug tests. Responsibilities

  • Complete preventive maintenance and light line repairs independently with no technical supervision.
  • Assist senior/master technicians with complex repairs as needed.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.
  • Conduct basic suspension and steering diagnosis and repair.
  • Perform basic brake diagnosis and repair, alignments, tire repair, and fluid maintenance exchange.
  • Repair or replace tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) and check/install batteries.
  • Execute manufacturer recalls if certification level is obtained.
  • Utilize the multi-point inspection form accurately for each vehicle.
  • Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
  • Examine assigned vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
  • Complete required training for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know.
  • Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs and schools.
  • Continuously expand knowledge of new technology to gain additional practice.

Requirements

  • Automotive technical school certifications preferred but not required.
  • Previous automotive experience as a 'D' level technician required.
  • Must have good prior work or school attendance.
  • Must have a positive attitude and be a team player.
  • Must be at least eighteen years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must have basic tools.
  • Must pass pre-employment screening (background and drug test).
