About the position
People Incorporated is looking for a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) to work every other weekend, specifically on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am to 3pm. This position offers a chance to advance your career in human services with no prior experience necessary to start. The role involves providing assistance with daily activities, ensuring a structured routine, and implementing Positive Behavior Support and individualized programs as identified in Individual Service Plans. The C.N.A. will also facilitate family visitations and medication distribution while maintaining human rights at all times. Community outings will be part of the job, providing opportunities for individuals to integrate into the community and enjoy various activities such as movies, shopping, dining, and sports events.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with daily activities and ensure a structured routine.
- Implement Positive Behavior Support and individualized programs as identified in Individual Service Plans.
- Facilitate family visitations and medication distribution while maintaining human rights.
- Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
- Engage individuals in community outings and activities of interest.
Requirements
- Valid Massachusetts C.N.A. License
- Compassionate nature and enjoyment in making a difference in someone's life
- Qualifying criminal background check and driving record
- Valid driver's license
- TB screening and physical required upon hire, with TB update every two years.

- Ability to perform de-escalation and crisis management techniques
