About the position

The CPhT Bilingual Customer Service Representative at MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to pharmacies, physicians, health plan sponsors, and their members. This role involves responding to inquiries related to benefit information, claims adjudication, eligibility verification, and prior authorization processes. The position requires effective communication skills in both English and Spanish, as well as the ability to resolve complex issues while adhering to company guidelines and performance standards. Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer phone inquiries and determine appropriate actions to resolve issues.
  • Deliver service that meets or exceeds department performance standards.
  • Utilize company database programs to research and resolve complex issues.
  • Educate external customers about MedImpact's roles and responsibilities.
  • Follow up with callers to ensure customer satisfaction and timely response to requests.
  • Diffuse irate customers by listening to issues and providing positive solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in workflow processes and customer experience.
  • Assist with special projects and assignments as delegated.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One year of call center customer service experience in a PBM or Healthcare preferred for Level I.
  • Three years of call center customer service experience in PBM, Health Plan, or Healthcare required for Level II.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office/Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Current Pharmacy Technician License or National Pharmacy Certification required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Windows based database programs.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
