About the position

The C# Application Developer at Parallon is responsible for developing, supporting, and maintaining database and web applications that support healthcare revenue cycle solutions. This role involves gathering business requirements, assisting in application design, and ensuring the applications meet the defined needs of the users. The developer will work closely with project teams, assist in testing, and provide technical guidance to business users.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, support, and maintain database and web applications for healthcare revenue cycle solutions.
  • Ascertain business requirements from users and incorporate them into applications.
  • Assist Senior and Consulting Application Developers with maintenance and support of ongoing applications.
  • Complete application development tasks according to project plans and communicate obstacles.
  • Develop prototypes/models and determine data sources as needed.
  • Follow technical and development standards when creating database and web components.
  • Create and execute application unit testing plans and document defects.
  • Coordinate system and user acceptance testing as appropriate.
  • Create and maintain application documentation.
  • Analyze and execute change requests and enhancements.
  • Resolve application issues and participate in On-Call rotation schedule.
  • Develop application controls to mitigate operational and financial risks.
  • Act as a liaison between Development Solutions and business users.
  • Participate in application design sessions and provide technical guidance to users.
  • Monitor, maintain, and enhance applications as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of C# application development experience.
  • Experience with ASP.NET, Node.js, SQL, and cloud technologies is a plus.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in business or systems analysis or systems development.
  • Thorough understanding of project lifecycles and SDLC.
  • Strong communication skills in various media.
  • Collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with React is a plus.
  • Experience in healthcare applications is a plus.
