About the position

We are seeking a skilled C# SQL Server Developer Programmer to join our team in Irving, TX. This position is a contract role as a Direct W2 Employee, offering a competitive hourly rate of $47.83, with the possibility of adjustments based on experience and market conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, particularly with C# and SQL Server, and will be responsible for developing complex scripts and resolving data issues through effective programming solutions. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in C# and .NET, specifically with Visual Studio 2012, to create and maintain software applications. You will also work extensively with SQL Server 2008/2012, where you will be expected to write and optimize T-SQL scripts, develop stored procedures, functions, and triggers, and perform SQL tuning to enhance performance. Your ability to analyze data and troubleshoot data-related problems will be crucial to the success of this position. While experience with SSIS, SSRS, or SSAS is not required, familiarity with these tools will be considered a plus. Additionally, knowledge of healthcare analytics and EDI, as well as ASP.NET and MVC frameworks, will be beneficial but is not mandatory. Responsibilities

  • Develop complex scripts using T-SQL to address data issues.
  • Write scripts to correct data problems and enhance data integrity.
  • Create and maintain stored procedures, functions, and triggers.

  • Collaborate with team members using TFS for version control and project management.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in .NET and C# development, specifically with Visual Studio 2012.
  • Expertise in SQL Server 2008/2012 and T-SQL, with a strong ability to analyze data and develop complex scripts.
  • Hands-on experience with TFS for project management and version control.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SSIS, SSRS, or SSAS is a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with healthcare analytics and EDI is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of ASP.NET and MVC frameworks is preferred but not essential.
