About the position

The Global Operations and Maintenance Engineering Manager for the C2BMC program will oversee technical, cost, and schedule performance within the Global O&M Engineering Management Portfolio. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient engineering processes and managing dependencies across teams to support the Missile Defense Agency's critical missile defense missions. The position requires strong leadership and communication skills to facilitate collaboration among various organizations involved in the C2BMC mission.

Responsibilities

• Accountable to the OM&S Engineering Project Manager (EPM) for technical, cost, and schedule performance.
• Work with the EPM to ensure efficient engineering processes are followed for the C2BMC Global system.
• Identify and track all Risks and Opportunities related to operations.
• Manage and report on team technical issues and resolutions.
• Support the OM&S EPM in proposal development, including authoring and reviewing BOEs and Engineering Estimates.
• Produce ETC/EVM and other engineering metrics to address technical or staffing issues while managing cost/schedule.
• Provide timely and accurate projections of engineering resource requirements and identify staffing needs.
• Ensure teams follow organizational processes and support the EPM in managing technical maturity milestones.

Requirements

• A final TS clearance needed prior to starting.
• Strong C2BMC Global Operations and Maintenance Leadership experience.
• Experience managing and delivering operations capability on complex DoD systems.
• Experience with Operations and Maintenance proposal preparation.
• Understanding of Earned Value (SPI/CPI/TCPI).

Nice-to-haves

• TS/SCI/SAP clearance and familiarity with the C2BMC program.
• Experience liaising with other DoD Agencies and associated Missile Defense Systems operations/organizations.
• Experience with U.S. Space Force, USSTRATCOM, or working within the space domain.
• Strong presentation and speaking skills.
