About the position

The C2BMC Global O&M Engineering Manager at Lockheed Martin is responsible for overseeing the technical, cost, and schedule performance within the Global Operations and Maintenance Engineering Management Portfolio. This role involves managing dependencies between teams, ensuring efficient engineering processes, and supporting the Engineering Project Manager (EPM) in various operational and maintenance tasks related to the C2BMC program, which is critical for missile defense operations.

Responsibilities

• Accountable to the OM&S Engineering Project Manager for technical, cost, and schedule performance.
• Work with the EPM to ensure efficient engineering processes are followed for the C2BMC Global system.
• Identify and track all Risks and Opportunities related to operations.
• Manage and report on team technical issues and resolutions.
• Support the OM&S EPM in proposal development, including authoring and reviewing BOEs and Engineering Estimates.
• Produce engineering metrics to identify and address technical or staffing issues while managing cost/schedule.
• Provide timely and accurate projections of engineering resource requirements and identify staffing needs.
• Ensure teams follow organizational processes and support the EPM in managing technical maturity.

Requirements

• Top Secret Clearance required prior to starting.
• Strong C2BMC Global Operations and Maintenance Leadership experience.
• Experience managing and delivering operations capability on complex DoD systems.
• Experience with Operations and Maintenance proposal preparation.
• Understanding of Earned Value (SPI/CPI/TCPI).

Nice-to-haves

• TS/SCI/SAP clearance and familiarity with the C2BMC program.
• Experience liaising with other DoD Agencies and associated Missile Defense Systems operations/organizations.
• Experience with U.S. Space Force, USSTRATCOM, or working within the space domain.
• Strong presentation and speaking skills.
