Responsibilities
- Maintain distributed systems using automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Github Actions.
- Troubleshoot issues using Linux CLI and log interpretation.
- Diagnose systems using POSIX/Unix tools like top, free, ps, and dmesg.
- Manipulate filesystems as needed.
- Work with Kubernetes and related platforms.
- Troubleshoot vSphere and vCenter managed virtual machines.
- Interact with cloud APIs and technologies.
- Deploy large distributed systems using DevOps and SRE strategies.
- Read and understand application code written in Golang.
- Create and maintain scripts in BASH.
- Lead projects and mentor junior systems engineers.
- Maintain large distributed web-serving systems, including load balancing and capacity planning.
Requirements
