About the position

The C3BM Principal Systems Engineer at Canvas is responsible for engaging in Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM) systems engineering efforts. This role involves providing interoperability engineering, analysis, and technical guidance for C2BMC, MDS Elements, and external capability integration. The engineer will participate in technical baseline efforts, support critical integration evaluations, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide interoperability engineering, analysis, and technical guidance for C2BMC, MDS Elements, and external capability integration and interface design efforts.
• Participate in technical baseline efforts to develop specifications and interfaces for current and future C3BM spirals.
• Support critical integration and interoperability product evaluations based on future product integration into MDA/BC spiral builds through interface, requirements, and C2BMC product definitions.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience required
• Master's Degree in STEM required
• Active Secret Clearance
• Knowledge of LRDR and TPY-2 (FBM) interoperability required
• Proficiency in system engineering and execution processes
• Able to apply network engineering and solutions to support real-world test, integration, and operation.

• Work within a collaborative environment composed of Government, prime contractor, sub-contractor and supporting contractor personnel in a badge-less contractor environment
• Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency, Ballistic Missile Defense System, and/or C3BM Program Office work efforts.
