About the position

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) position at Pegasus Senior Living is designed for individuals passionate about serving seniors and making a positive impact in their lives. Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with their care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor residents for drug actions and interactions.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' health status.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff regarding care and concerns.
• Participate in the development and implementation of care plans.
• Assist in training and supervising junior staff and nursing assistants.

Requirements

• Current license as an LVN/LPN or RN.
• A minimum of one (1) year relevant experience working with seniors (preferred).
• Familiarity with drug actions and interactions.
• Possess accurate and comprehensive assessment skills.
• Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
