About the position
Wells Fargo is seeking a CA-WA Mortgage Retail Sales Consultant (SAFE) in Consumer Lending as part of Home Lending. This role focuses on soliciting residential mortgages, producing high-quality loans, and providing excellent customer service. The consultant will analyze mortgage options based on client needs, negotiate loan terms, and ensure compliance with regulations while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Solicit residential mortgages from various sources and produce high-quality loans.
- Offer loans, negotiate terms, and take applications for dwelling secured transactions.
- Analyze mortgage loans based on client needs to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction.
- Present recommendations for producing loans and exercise independent judgment.
- Provide information regarding loans to consultants and functional colleagues.
- Interact with customers to understand their needs and provide high-quality loan service.
Requirements
- 2+ years of Mortgage Retail Sales experience or equivalent work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Documented retail residential mortgage fundings over the past 12 months from established, local, external sources.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Mortgage industry experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of sales prospecting and generating referrals.
- Experience developing and cultivating professional relationships.
- Customer service experience.
