About the position

Scandia Custom Cabinets is seeking a dedicated Cabinet Door Maker to join their Drawer & Door Department. This full-time position requires a motivated individual with woodworking experience to construct and assemble cabinet doors while maintaining a clean and safe workspace. The ideal candidate will be a team player eager to learn and contribute to the company's success.

Responsibilities

• Read order form for door specs
• Communicate with foreman on questions/concerns
• Perform other shop duties as needed
• Maintain a clean workspace
• Construct and assemble cabinet doors
• Conscious of shop & employee safety

Requirements

• Knowledge and proper use of hand tools & power equipment (1-2 years)
• Woodworking experience (1-2 years required, 2 years a plus)
• Detail oriented with high quality standards
• Ability to read a tape measure & have basic math skills
• Problem solver, punctual and hardworking
• Ability to operate machinery
• Ability to work independently or with a team
• Great understanding of deadlines
• Highly communicative team player
