About the position
We are seeking a Cabinet Finishing Technician to join our team at a leading cabinet refinishing company in Fort Collins, CO. This full-time position involves working in a shop-based environment, focusing on the finishing process of cabinetry to ensure high-quality results. The ideal candidate will have experience in painting, woodworking, or finishing techniques and will be responsible for adhering to project specifications and timelines while collaborating with team members.
Responsibilities
- Scrape, wash and label cabinet doors and drawer fronts
- Power and hand sand cabinet doors and drawer fronts
- Apply and sand putty and filler to cabinet doors and drawer fronts
- Spray cabinet doors and drawer fronts in an industrial spray booth
- Help as needed with masking off kitchens and installing doors/drawer fronts
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring all specifications are met
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely project completion
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, performing minor repairs as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in painting, cabinet finishing or a related field is preferred
- Proficiency in using power tools safely and effectively is essential
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Must have reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
