About the position

Artisan Millworks LLC is seeking a highly motivated Cabinet Installer to join our rapidly growing team. This full-time position offers a competitive pay range of $16 to $30 per hour, depending on experience and project specifics. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in cabinet installation, although we are also open to hiring subcontractors, lead installers, apprentices, and laborers. The role involves performing installations in both residential and commercial settings, including new construction sites, homes, commercial buildings, and offices. Candidates should possess a working knowledge of power tools and demonstrate problem-solving skills when necessary. As a Cabinet Installer, you will be responsible for the assembly and installation of cabinets, ensuring that all work meets the high-quality standards that Artisan Millwork LLC is known for. You will need to read and translate drawings and diagrams accurately, identify and troubleshoot installation issues, and perform quality inspections of finished products. Critical thinking on the job is essential to ensure that projects are completed promptly and according to our company's quality standards. Maintaining good working relationships with coworkers and supervisors is crucial, as is the ability to follow standard operating procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment. We are looking for candidates who are adaptable to a growing team, detail-oriented, organized, and self-driven with a positive attitude. A willingness to grow within the company and the ability to meet strict deadlines with limited supervision are also important. Responsibilities

  • Assembly and installation of cabinets.
  • Ability to read and translate drawings and diagrams.
  • Identify and troubleshoot installation issues.
  • Perform quality inspection of finished products to maintain quality standards.

  • Maintain good working relationships with coworkers and supervisors.

Requirements

  • Prefer experience in cabinet assembly and installation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and become cross-trained in different areas of shop work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Physically able to lift, push, and pull more than 150 lbs.
  • Able to stand, sit, walk, move, squat, walk or climb for long periods of time.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment (forklifts and cranes) is a plus.
