About the position
We are looking for a full-time experienced cabinet maker who specializes in quality cabinet building construction, primarily in commercial settings. The role involves assembly, edge banding, and fabrication, requiring a strong background in working with various cabinet building materials. The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading blueprints, creating cut lists, and using cabinet building tools effectively.
Responsibilities
- Construct and assemble cabinets according to specifications and blueprints.
- Utilize various materials such as plywood, plastic laminate, MDF, veneer, and solid surfaces.
- Install hardware and ensure quality control during the cabinet building process.
- Operate panel saws, glue guns, routers, table saws, and other cabinet building tools.
- Create cut lists and read blueprints accurately.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cabinet making.
- Proficiency in using cabinet building tools and machinery.
- Ability to read blueprints and create cut lists.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in commercial cabinet building.
- Knowledge of edge banding techniques.
