About the position

The Administrative/Accounting Clerk III at Oneida Technical Solutions, LLC is responsible for providing advanced administrative and accounting support within a secure environment. This role involves performing complex clerical and accounting tasks, maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing sensitive information, particularly in a government or defense-related context.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a range of administrative and accounting tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and financial reporting.
  • Process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with DOD 8140 standards and other relevant regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and other financial documents.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
  • Manage sensitive information, ensuring it is handled and stored securely in compliance with Secret Clearance requirements.
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting department, including scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence, and maintaining files.
  • Assist with audits and other financial reviews as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative or accounting role, preferably in a government or defense-related environment.
  • Must possess an active Secret Clearance.
  • Compliance with DOD 8140 is required.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
