About the position
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Workforce and Development Team at Central Arizona College. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in workforce development initiatives, project management, developing and executing social media strategies, and community outreach. The intern will assist with the development and implementation of programs aimed at improving workforce employment opportunities within Pinal County. Internship duration: 12/1/2024 - 6/30/2025 (with possibility of extension)
Responsibilities
- Assist with administrative tasks and project coordination as needed.
- Collaborate with team members.
- Conduct research on industry trends, workforce needs, and training programs.
- Support data collection and analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of workforce initiatives.
- Create engaging content (post, stories, etc.) for various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Currently enrolled/taking classes at Central Arizona College
- Must obtain a 2.0 GPA
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with social media platforms (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Strong writing, communication, and creative skills.
