About the position

The CAD-3D Designer/Project Manager at Lambert Stoneworks is responsible for creating detailed construction plans and managing high-end custom projects involving dimensional stone. This entry-level position requires advanced knowledge of CAD software and collaboration with the construction team to ensure project timelines and designs are met.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed and precise construction plans using CAD software.
• Prepare mechanical sketches and drawings, including sectional, auxiliary, and multiview projections.
• Produce 2D and 3D orthographic projections and models.
• Collaborate with the construction team to establish project timelines and designs.
• Conduct on-site measuring using a Proliner.
• Utilize Bluebeam for project management and cost tracking.
• Interact with clients to discuss project requirements and updates.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Rhino 3D, and Slabsmith software.
• Ability to prepare mechanical sketches and drawings.
• Experience in producing 2D and 3D models and projections.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Architecture, Construction Engineering, or a similar field preferred.
