About the position

Mead & Hunt, Inc. is seeking a full-time CAD/BIM Designer to join their Water Residuals Business Unit. This role involves preparing and modifying reports, specifications, plans, schedules, studies, and BIM models for various projects. The designer will also be responsible for quality assurance, mentoring team members, and may require some travel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify reports, specifications, plans, schedules, studies, and BIM models for projects.
• Direct the preparation of project designs and documentation.
• Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion.
• Review designs for quality assurance and quality control.
• Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices.

Requirements

• Associate degree in CAD, engineering technology, engineering/architectural graphics, or related field, or six years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Four years of relevant experience in CAD/BIM design.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and related CAD software.
• Experience with wastewater treatment facilities, HVAC, and piping systems.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work with team members in different time zones.
• Excellent communication skills.
