About the position
The CAD-CAM Design Programmer Level III is responsible for ensuring the dimensional and cosmetic quality of sheet metal parts throughout various manufacturing operations. This role requires proficiency in CAD-CAM programming, CNC operations, and a solid understanding of sheet metal principles, contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of production processes.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain dimensional and cosmetic quality throughout operations.
- Utilize basic 3D modeling and 2D drawing creation.
- Apply basic CNC G-Code knowledge and advanced CAM knowledge.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience in custom manufacturing of sheet metal parts, processes, and methods.
- Proficient in reading tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
- Basic understanding of blueprint reading and interpretations.
- Basic computer skills and shop math knowledge.
- Experience in a sheet metal environment.
