About the position

Vision Machine Works, Inc. is seeking an experienced CAD/CAM Programmer/Designer to join their team. The role involves designing and programming using CAD/CAM software, specifically NX11, Power Mill, and Power Shape, to produce quality gages for the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Training will be provided for necessary software skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and program using CAD/CAM software such as NX11, Power Mill, and Power Shape.
• Produce quality gages for the automotive industry.
• Work independently with little to no supervision.
• Pay attention to detail in all aspects of design and programming.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.

Requirements

• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (NX11, Power Mill, Power Shape).
• Strong understanding of trigonometry, geometry, and blueprint reading.
• Mid-level experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Good communication skills.
