About the position

Kelly Grace Corp., a multi-line apparel company located in Midtown Manhattan, is seeking a talented CAD Designer to join our in-house print design team. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for a creative individual who is organized and self-motivated. The CAD Designer will play a crucial role in the print development process, which includes cleaning original studio art files, performing color separations, and creating repeats. A strong understanding of color theory and layout compositions is essential for this role, as the designer will be responsible for producing original artwork that aligns with our brand's aesthetic and market trends. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, as these tools are vital for executing design tasks effectively. Additionally, a solid knowledge of the apparel industry and garment construction will be beneficial in understanding the context of the designs being created. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that all designs meet the high standards expected by our clients and stakeholders. The CAD Designer will also be expected to stay updated on current design trends and techniques to continuously enhance the quality of our print designs.
