About the position

We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our team, responsible for creating technical drawings and plans used in construction and manufacturing projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing fire alarm and other low voltage systems, ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed drawings using AutoCAD software
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements
• Ensure drawings comply with industry codes and standards
• Create schematics, assembly drawings, and layouts
• Conduct technical writing for documentation purposes

Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD software
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards
• Strong electrical knowledge and experience in electrical design
• Familiarity with system design and schematics
• Experience with premium tools like SolidWorks, Revit, and Bluebeam
• Understanding of NFPA, IBC, IFC and NEC codes & standards
