About the position

The CAD Designer/Drafter position involves creating detailed designs and technical drawings for the manufacturing of test instruments. The role requires collaboration with engineers to ensure compliance with ISO CAD standards and to refine designs based on project goals and feedback.

Responsibilities

• Work with Engineers to develop and design mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks.
• Create accurate and detailed technical drawings and schematics for production.
• Ensure compliance with ISO CAD standards for design and documentation.
• Work collaboratively with engineers and product development teams to refine designs and meet project goals.
• Review and revise designs based on feedback and requirements.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving design issues during the manufacturing process.

Requirements

• Proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of mechanical modeling principles.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• SolidWorks Certification
• Associate's Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Design, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in CAD design.
• Experience with ISO CAD standards.
