About the position

Accurate Staging is seeking self-starting CAD Designers/Drafters for entry-level positions in the LA area. The role involves reading and interpreting designs, drawings, and blueprints to create site plans and construction drawings for stages and structures in the concert and live entertainment industry. This position offers a pay-to-learn opportunity equivalent to a paid internship, with the potential for full-time employment after skill development.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret conceptual designs, drawings, blueprints, engineering orders, sketches, and graphs.
• Generate site plans and construction & detail drawings.
• Communicate with small teams to ensure timely project completion.
• Travel to job sites for surveys, meetings, and on-site observations as needed.
• Perform regular office duties such as answering phone calls and refilling printer supplies.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Self-motivated with clear communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with both imperial and metric systems.

Nice-to-haves

• Fluent Spanish speaker.
• Associates Degree in Drafting.
• 1 year of CAD experience.
• 1 year of Spanish language experience.
