About the position

Responsibilities

• Create accurate 2D drawings and 3D models based on project requirements, sketches, and specifications provided by engineers and architects.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as assembly instructions, bills of materials, and part lists.
• Work closely with engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure designs meet technical and functional requirements.
• Review drawings and models to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to design standards and specifications.
• Assist in identifying design issues and propose solutions during the design and development phase.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in CAD technology to improve efficiency and quality of designs.

Requirements

• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) with a strong understanding of 2D and 3D drafting techniques.
• Basic knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in CAD design or drafting in an engineering or architectural firm is a plus.
