About the position

The CAD Designer position at NASC GLOBAL involves conceptualizing, developing, and overseeing a variety of engineering projects, particularly in the fields of wastewater, water, roadway, solar, erosion control, and site design. The role is critical for ensuring projects are managed effectively and delivered in a safe, timely, and sustainable manner.

Responsibilities

• Manage, design, develop, and maintain construction projects of varying scales.
• Conduct on-site investigations and analyze various data sources such as maps, reports, tests, and drawings.
• Evaluate potential risks, materials, and costs associated with projects.
• Provide creative solutions to emerging problems and deficiencies during project execution.
• Oversee the handover of completed structures and services to clients.
• Monitor project progress and compile status reports for stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets and procure necessary equipment and materials.

Requirements

• PE or Engineer in Training license required.
• Proficient in design and visualization software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience with Civil 3D software.
• Strong knowledge in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, and regulatory approvals.
• Excellent project management and supervisory skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
