About the position

LuciGold LLC is seeking an experienced CAD Designer with a strong mechanical design background and construction experience. This role involves creating detailed mechanical designs and specifications for custom safety and egress products, catering to both residential and commercial applications. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and creative, with a solid understanding of CAD design and construction principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate and detailed CAD drawings from sketches provided.
• Collaborate with LuciGold designer to refine designs and ensure feasibility.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including product specifications and fabrication details.
• Use knowledge of construction methods and materials to enhance product designs for safety and compliance.

Requirements

• Eight+ years experience as a CAD Designer
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
• Inventor experience a plus
• Strong background in mechanical design, with a focus on product development
• Experience in the construction industry or related field
• Knowledge of building codes and safety standards is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
