Based out of our Cudahy, WI location, you will have the chance to work on innovative projects, collaborate with a diverse team, and contribute to successfully implementing our engineering solutions. AS A CAD DESIGNER, YOU WILL: Design and develop flawless 2D and 3D models using CAD software Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications for manufacturing purposes Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to determine design requirements Conduct thorough research and analysis to ensure designs meet industry standards and regulations Construct detailed bills of material Maintain accurate documentation and records of design changes and revisions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop flawless 2D and 3D models using CAD software
  • Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications for manufacturing purposes
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to determine design requirements
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to ensure designs meet industry standards and regulations
  • Construct detailed bills of material
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of design changes and revisions

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Mechanical Design or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Validated experience as a CAD Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your past work
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
  • In-depth knowledge of engineering principles and design techniques
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and precise designs
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within a team environment
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

Nice-to-haves

  • Associate's degree in Mechanical Design or a related field plus 2-3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
