Responsibilities

• Design plot plans and plat plans with modifications to house plans.
• Attend regular development meetings to discuss project progress.
• Address limitations of technologies and materials in the AutoCAD process.
• Utilize city zoning requirements to design site plans based on survey data.
• Create plat maps indicating proposed plans in collaboration with land development.
• Modify house plans to fit city-specific requirements.
• Work with architects to design cost-effective housing solutions.
• Stay updated on advancements in materials and software technologies.
• Pursue ongoing education in the field of CAD design.
• Utilize large databases of material property information for modeling.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-year degree in a related field (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree or certifications (preferred).
• 2+ years' experience utilizing AutoCAD software.
• Minimum 2 years working in a professional environment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to see complicated projects through to completion with patience.
• Ability to think in a three-dimensional manner.
• Comfortable with sitting for long periods of time.
