About the position

The CAD Designer III position at SEH involves working within the Environmental team to standardize CAD 3D modeling and drawing practices across various engineering disciplines. The role focuses on mentoring junior designers, developing innovative design solutions, and ensuring quality assurance in project drawing production. This position is integral to the company's mission of restoring balance to the environment and positively impacting communities through engineering and design.

Responsibilities

• Standardize CAD 3D modeling and drawing practices for Environmental, Water Resources, Geotechnical, and Civil Services.
• Mentor junior designers and engineers in design methodologies and drawing development.
• Develop innovative design guidance and solutions to improve project accuracy and constructability.
• Provide quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) for project drawing production.
• Prepare CAD 3D Modeling and engineering drawings for project plans.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in civil engineering technology or related field.
• Strong experience in Solid Waste Design.
• Previous experience preparing scopes of work, fee proposals, and schedules.
• Ability to deliver concepts and designs according to project deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Solid Waste Design.
