About the position

The CAD Designer position at Huber Technology Inc. involves a variety of design and drafting activities under the supervision of the CAD Manager. The role focuses on preparing and updating installation and assembly drawings for projects, ensuring consistent documentation in collaboration with the HSE Germany headquarters. The designer will also assist in understanding blueprints and specifications, maintain documentation, and support the CAD database maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dimensional drawings, installation drawings, and complex drawings for plant engineering.
• Revise and update existing drawings reflecting design changes in collaboration with HSE Germany headquarters.
• Review and understand blueprints, plans, specifications, and other customer documentation as needed.
• Assist in preparing installation drawings that meet customer requirements during the bid and submittal phase.
• Maintain notes, design calculations, and documentation for future reference as per established procedures by the CAD team.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or completion of a technical trade school in CAD, drafting, or related field.
• 4-6 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Part modeling and detailing experience using Creo/ProEngineer 2.0-6.0 parametric software.
• Experience working with skeleton structures, assembly structures, and product design.
• Experience in equipment layout for municipal and/or industrial construction projects.
• Experience in equipment/plant layout relating to wastewater treatment facilities.
• Experience with Windchill Product Data Management (PDM) software.
• Manufacturing design experience with sheet metal, fabrication, and welding CAD designs.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with IFS software or similar experience with SAP software.
• 6-8 years of experience.
