About the position

The CAD Designer will collaborate with project and design engineers to create and modify pneumatic and liquid electromagnetic solenoid valves. This role is crucial in addressing the current backlog of projects by making engineering changes and updating databases, with a focus on converting SolidEdge designs.

Responsibilities

• Attend regular development meetings
• Incorporate feedback into 3D model designs
• Make revisions to models as requested
• Run simulations and stress tests on all 3D models before prototyping
• Keep up to date on all modern advancements in material and software technologies
• Utilize large databases of material property information to best select materials for modeling

Requirements

• Proficiency in SolidWorks
• Proficiency in Solid Edge
• At least one year of product design experience, preferably with plastics

Nice-to-haves

• Engineering Certificate or Associate's degree in CAD
• Experience with plastics
