About the position

The Architectural Designer position focuses on creating luxurious outdoor living spaces through innovative design and 3D modeling. The role requires collaboration with a team to visualize and produce high-end outdoor designs, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop 3D models for outdoor living projects using SketchUp.
• Produce high-quality renderings in Lumion to showcase project concepts.
• Create and manage detailed construction drawings and plan sets in AutoCAD.
• Work with Project Managers to develop construction drawings and implement redlines.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure alignment with project goals and client expectations.
• Understand and apply construction principles to ensure feasibility and quality in design.
• Research zoning regulations for different counties/municipalities.

Requirements

• Proficiency in SketchUp for 3D design.
• Strong skills in rendering with Lumion for high-quality, photorealistic project visuals.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD for creating accurate plan sets and construction drawings.
• An understanding of construction techniques and principles, specifically in relation to outdoor environments.
• Architecture degree or CAD background.
• Required portfolio demonstrating experience in outdoor or high-end residential design.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of zoning and the ability to research for different counties/municipalities.
