About the position

We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer-aided design and be proficient in various CAD software applications. This role involves creating detailed designs and technical drawings for mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes. The CAD Designer will collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop innovative solutions that meet project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Enter all specs for in-house manufactured items
• Get all associated tooling costs
• Design packaging based around customer product/use
• Make samples for customer approval using CAD/Esko Table
• Manage Tooling Inventory/Purge dies as needed
• Manage Tooling Repairs needed
• Review quality issues through quality module
• Participate in Level 10 Meetings including Sales, Production, and Quality

Requirements

• Strong background in computer-aided design
• Proficient in various CAD software applications
• Experience in mechanical design
• Ability to read and understand specifications and paperwork
• Detail-oriented
• Customer-focused
• Strong communication skills at all levels
