Volt is hiring a CAD Designer who will play a crucial role in providing end-to-end purification solutions for pollution in air, water, and other gases and liquids. This position can be worked remotely with some travel requirements. The CAD Designer will be responsible for designing and customizing products and system drawings in accordance with customer specifications and business needs. As a CAD Designer, you will produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings, plans, and models based on specifications provided by engineers, architects, or project managers. You will also be tasked with revising and updating existing CAD drawings to reflect any changes or improvements in design. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with other team members, including engineers, architects, and project managers, to ensure that all designs meet the required specifications. In addition to creating and updating drawings, you will check and verify design drawings to ensure they conform to specifications and design standards. Maintaining organized records of all drawings, specifications, and other design documents is essential. You will also provide technical support and guidance to team members and other departments as needed. Proficiency in CAD software is a must, and you will be expected to stay updated with the latest tools and technologies in the field. Ensuring that all designs comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations is a critical aspect of this position. Furthermore, you will continuously seek to improve design processes and techniques for better efficiency and quality.
