About the position

The CAD Designer position involves creating precise technical drawings and models, ensuring accuracy in design, materials, and dimensions. The role requires collaboration with engineers and project managers to meet project specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D or 3D models of mechanical parts, structures, or systems based on specifications provided by engineers, architects, or designers.
• Convert design concepts into technical drawings by interpreting sketches, rough drafts, and verbal instructions.
• Make necessary adjustments or revisions to designs based on feedback from engineers, clients, or project leads.
• Ensure that drawings include necessary specifications such as materials, dimensions, tolerances, and other technical details.
• Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure the designs meet project requirements and adhere to regulations.
• Ensure that drawings conform to industry standards and codes.
• Maintain and manage a record of drawings, including modifications and updates.

Requirements

• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for creating 2D and 3D models.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.
• Ability to interpret engineering specifications and design concepts.
• Experience in mechanical design or related field.
