About the position

TRAK Machine Tools is looking for an entry-level CAD Designer to join their Engineering team. This role involves supporting Mechanical, Electrical, and Software Engineers in the development of CNC Machines, focusing on updating 3D assemblies, creating 2D drawings, and managing engineering change requests.

Responsibilities

• Update existing 3D assemblies and create 2D Drawings.
• Create and update Bills of Material.
• Process drawing changes through the Engineering Change Request process.
• Utilize data management tools such as Solidworks PDM & Solidworks Manage.
• Convert Legacy Data from Solid Edge to Solidworks.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of Solidworks CAD Experience.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or 5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (Mills vs Lathes).
• Experience with Microsoft Products (Excel and Word).

Benefits

• Base compensation range of $18.00 - $22.00 per hour plus benefits.
