About the position

The CAD Designer role at Actalent focuses on transitioning files from Creo to SolidWorks, ensuring accuracy and quality in drafting work. This position is a 12-month contract with the potential for permanent employment based on performance. The designer will work in a collaborative environment, contributing to the creation of models, drawings, and assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Convert files from Creo to SolidWorks.
• Redraw models and drawings in SolidWorks.
• Create assemblies and draft parts as needed.
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of drafting work.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth file conversions.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in CAD design.
• 1+ years of drafting experience.
• 1+ years of experience with Creo and SolidWorks.
• Strong drafting skills and understanding of drafting grammar.
• Ability to create models and drawings in SolidWorks.

Nice-to-haves

• Some experience in converting files from Creo to SolidWorks.
• Testing and verifying the accuracy of converted files.
