About the position

The CAD Designer position at Insight Global involves working in a collaborative environment to support the construction of natural gas pipelines. Responsibilities

• Work in multi-discipline, collaborative team environments
• Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, environmental scientists, GIS professionals, operations supervisors, and technicians
• Utilize the latest 3D modeling CADD software to develop designs, drawings, and details for the natural gas and adjacent industries
• Help build and strengthen existing CADD templates and processes
• Explore new design technologies
• Participate in tasks outside of drafting as needed
• See projects through from start to finish, from initial conception to construction and commissioning
• Learn industry codes, compliance, best practices, and construction methods
• Network and collaborate with individuals across the natural gas industry

Requirements

• 1+ years' experience in a civil engineering drafter/designer role
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Ability to handle multiple projects, tasks, and deadlines simultaneously
