About the position

The CAD Designer will collaborate with project and design engineers to develop and design pneumatic and liquid electromagnetic solenoid valves. This role is crucial in addressing the current backlog of work, allowing engineers to initiate new projects. The position involves converting SolidEdge designs and making necessary engineering changes while updating engineering databases.

Responsibilities

• Attend regular development meetings
• Incorporate feedback into 3D model designs
• Make revisions to models as requested
• Run simulations and stress tests on all 3D models before prototyping
• Keep up to date on all modern advancements in material and software technologies
• Utilize large databases of material property information to best select materials for modeling

Requirements

• Proficiency in SolidWorks
• Proficiency in Solid Edge
• At least one year of product design experience, preferably with plastics
• Engineering Certificate or Associate's degree in CAD
