About the position

The CAD Designer will focus on developing and designing pneumatic and liquid electromagnetic solenoid valves, incorporating engineering changes, and updating engineering databases. The role emphasizes converting SolidEdge designs and requires collaboration in development meetings to refine 3D models based on feedback.

Responsibilities

• Attend regular development meetings
• Incorporate feedback into 3D model designs
• Make revisions to models as requested
• Run simulations and stress tests on all 3D models before prototyping
• Keep up to date on all modern advancements in material and software technologies
• Utilize large databases of material property information to best select materials for modeling

Requirements

• Proficiency in SolidWorks
• Proficiency in Solid Edge
• At least one year of product design experience, preferably with plastics

Nice-to-haves

• Engineering Certificate or Associate's degree in CAD
