About the position

The CAD/Revit Lead Designer will be responsible for generating high-quality commercial kitchen and bar design documents for an industry-leading Commercial Food Service Equipment Facilities Design and Equipment Company. This full-time position can be performed remotely or in a hybrid work environment, and requires strong communication and coordination skills with various stakeholders to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and coordinate with sales team, architects, engineers, and manufacturing partners to generate complete high-quality project design plans.
• Adhere to project deadlines and keep the Supervising Designer or Project Manager informed of any difficulties encountered on assignments.
• Submit work for quality review on time and in a complete format.
• Develop office processes for improvement in the use of CAD/REVIT software.
• Train subordinate CAD/REVIT designer/engineers to handle volume as business continues to expand.

Requirements

• 7+ years of CAD Design experience.
• 2+ years of REVIT Design experience.
• Commercial kitchen design experience required.
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• English required; Spanish and any other languages a plus.
