About the position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical design and system design, utilizing advanced CAD software to create precise schematics and models. This role is essential in supporting our engineering projects and ensuring that designs meet both functionality and aesthetic standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D models using CAD software, including Inventor & AutoCAD.
• Create and modify schematics for various mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand design requirements and specifications.
• Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure accuracy in designs.
• Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve project outcomes.
• Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including bills of material, manuals, and specifications.
• Stay updated with the latest CAD technologies and industry trends to enhance design processes.

Requirements

• Proficiency in CAD software, particularly Inventor, Catia v5, AutoCAD or similar tools.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in mechanical design principles.
• Familiarity with GD&T practices is highly desirable.
• Experience in system design with the ability to visualize complex structures.
• Knowledge of 2D animation techniques is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in system design: 1 year (Preferred)
