About the position

The CAD Designer position in Battle Ground is a permanent role focused on providing design support in architectural and engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CAD drafting, particularly in commercial and residential development, and will be expected to manage projects effectively while collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities

• Design and draft architectural and engineering plans using AutoCAD and Civil3D.
• Manage projects and ensure they meet specifications and deadlines.
• Collaborate with team members and follow guidance from senior staff.
• Familiarize with governmental and industry-related codes relevant to projects.
• Develop technical knowledge of specifications and requirements for commercial and residential development.

Requirements

• 7+ years of design experience in architecture/engineering (A/E).
• Associate's degree in civil design or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 2 or more years of experience managing projects preferred.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow direction.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, AutoCAD, and Civil3D.
