About the position

As a CAD Designer at CBRE, you will be responsible for designing and preparing electronic working plans, maps, and drawings for small to medium-scale projects. This role involves producing proposals and planning applications for both internal and external partners, ensuring that all designs are spatially accurate and technically correct.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prints of various original plans and records for internal and external agency use.
• Review updated drawings for changes using computer-aided drafting techniques.
• Gather data to complete drawings by visiting the site directly and conducting surveys of space.
• Assist with the development of maps and drawings that are spatially accurate and technically correct.
• Act as the point of contact for internal and external partners to obtain project details, including equipment, materials, and codes.
• Collect on-site information and input it into a database to maintain current building conditions and data.
• Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Impact the quality of own work and work within standardized procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience, or a combination of experience and education.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
