Kimes Engineering is a leader in providing permit and construction plans for commercial and residential aquatics in Florida. With over 21 years of experience, we are a family-owned business dedicated to delivering high-quality designs that meet the needs of our clients. We are currently seeking a mid to advanced level AutoCAD designer/drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AutoCAD and have a strong understanding of creating detailed permit and construction plans. This role requires collaboration with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure that all drawings are accurate and meet the desired specifications. The successful candidate will also be responsible for reviewing plans and maintaining organized files to ensure efficient workflow and project management.

Responsibilities

• Using AutoCAD to create permit and construction plans with site and detail information.
• Working with clients to achieve desired design outcomes.
• Collaborating with architects and engineers to develop accurate and precise drawings.
• Reviewing plans and maintaining organized files.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with AutoCAD (Required).
• Ability to relocate to Bradenton, FL before starting work (Required).
