About the position

The CAD Drafter/Designer position at DXP Enterprises involves creating and revising technical drawings and bills of materials for various rotating equipment. The role requires daily interaction with mechanical engineers and is essential for supporting project engineering efforts.

Responsibilities

• Creating and revising drawings and bill of materials on rotating equipment including pumps, engines, electric motors, vessels, piping, valves, and instrumentation.
• Interfacing daily with mechanical engineers.
• Reporting to the Project Engineering Manager.

Requirements

• 3 years minimum pipe routing experience with SolidWorks required.
• Experience with weldments and routing within SolidWorks required.
• PC literate; typically MS Office, Word, and Excel.
• Flexible, adaptable, and self-motivated.

Nice-to-haves

• Some experience with AutoCAD preferred.
• Mechanical Engineering degree (preferred) or similar experience.
