About the position

The CAD Drafter/Designer position involves creating detailed construction documents and collaborating with project managers to ensure timely project completion. This role is essential for both residential and commercial building design, requiring a strong understanding of architectural design phases.

Responsibilities

• Producing construction documents including full sets and 3-dimensional designs.
• Understanding all three phases of design: Schematic Design (SD), Design Development (DD), and Construction Documents (CD).
• Drafting for residential (single and multifamily) and commercial building projects.
• Collaborating closely with the Project Manager and their team to ensure project timelines are met.

Requirements

• 3+ years of architectural design experience required.
• Complete understanding of all three phases of design (SD, DD, and CD).
• Experience with Revit is required; experience with both Revit and AutoCAD is highly preferred.
• Experience with dynamic blocks and building prototypes is preferred.
• An architectural degree is preferred.
• Strong multitasking abilities are required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to follow directions and work independently.
