We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles and the ability to collaborate with engineers and architects to bring concepts to life. The CAD Drafter will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed drawings and schematics using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Create 3D models and visualizations using tools like Sketchup and SolidWorks.
• Draft mechanical designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from team members or clients.
• Maintain organized records of all design documents and revisions.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including specifications and reports.
• Utilize NavisWorks for project coordination and clash detection.

Requirements

• Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, Sketchup, and NavisWorks.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and drafting techniques.
• Ability to create accurate schematics and technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with industry standards related to drafting and design is preferred.
